We can recognize our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, and then we can use these new tools and knowledge to change how we train our bodies and how we think. We can do anything we put our mind to because we are aware of our subconscious, and we can harness that power to get results.

The same is true of your body. We know that exercise is important because we get results when we do it. But we also know that when we don’t do it, we get sick. We also know that when we don’t exercise, we get fat. But self-awareness can show us that we are not where we want to be, so we can take corrective action.

The most powerful mental practice we can do, and it’s something you can do for yourself while working towards a goal, is self-awareness.
