Our brains are amazing machines. The ability to think and learn at the same time is the mark of any intelligent individual. However, it is also a mark that is often mistaken for genius. There are a few factors that can play into this, and one of them is the amount of sleep we get. We are usually wired to be awake, with our brain’s electrical activity activated, when we sleep.

The fact is that the human brain is a very complicated machine. To help us learn, we turn to a variety of tools that we can download into our brain, like the internet, reading, and a good book. When we sleep, though, our brain just shuts down and that’s when we don’t learn.

The human brain just shuts down when we sleep. This is why the best scientists like to keep a “sleep lab” in their homes. The lab is where they test the effects of sleep deprivation on different parts of the brain and see if the brain gets stronger. This allows them to make better guesses about how well sleep can help your memory.

What if we actually took this idea and put it into practice? After all, it is a theory that has been proposed many times in the past. The theory is that sleeping really sucks and that you should always sleep with a pillow under your head. It is impossible to learn how to sleep better unless you actually do it. We learned the benefits of natural sleep in the last video of this series. We also learned how to sleep better with the aid of melatonin and other natural sleep aids (like exercise and caffeine) but we only learned how to sleep better without any of these things. This is because learning how to sleep better requires a kind of meta-cognitive awareness that we don’t really have.

That’s why we can’t learn how to sleep better. We have to go through years and years of trial and error in order to master that task. However, we can learn how to sleep better through a meta-cognitive process.

The natural sleep process involves learning how to control the brain’s sleep/wake cycle. The process is a process of trying to find the middle ground between sleep and wakefulness. While the normal brain cycles between the two, it tends to be more active during sleep, so it’s not as much of a problem for the brain to transition back to wakefulness. The brain needs to learn to transition in this middle ground between sleep and wakefulness in order to sleep well.
