I am not sure what the joke is, but I will tell you that there are a lot of people in this world that will not take no for an answer when it comes to mother in law jobs. This is also why it is so important to not get too attached to a mother in law job. You do have to respect the person, but you also do have to make sure that this is a good fit for you.
I have been asked about this before and the answer is that you definitely should not get too attached to the mother in law job. In fact, many times, it will simply ruin the possibility of you getting a good, long, rewarding job someday. It is a job that requires you to be very, very good at what you do. That is a skill that you will need to have, otherwise you will find yourself working for someone else who is not quite as skilled as you.
I am not so sure this is a good fit for you. As someone who works a full-time job, I have to say that I do not actually enjoy being around a lot of women, especially mothers in law. They also tend to be one of the reasons why I decided to not get married. It’s just not my thing.
I do not know if this is a job you are meant to be doing or if you should not be doing it. I do know that if you do not, it is likely that you will find yourself working as a waitress or a barista, or in some other less-than-romantic setting. This is not a job that you should be doing if you want to be happy.

There is a part of me that wishes I could take this job on myself. I would do it so well, that even if I had to make some of these decisions on my own, I’d still be making them better than I would have if I had to do them on my own. But, it turns out, you can’t.
