The question was, are you supposed to take a shower before a workout, or after? We looked at the studies that were done and concluded that people who took a shower before a workout were less likely to burn out than the people who didn’t. So, since you can do both, we decided to give it a try.
Of course, the shower isn’t the only thing that’s in our daily routine. We also put on a pair of tennis shoes, a pair of jeans, and a vest before we go out to work, and then we take them all off before we get home. The fact that we always wear the same clothes in the same places in the same order is a nice little signifier of our lives as a couple.
The idea is that by putting together a routine that makes you feel good and helps your body and soul heal, you encourage your body to heal itself, too. So if you do a lot of exercises and then go to the gym, you are encouraging your body to heal, too.
Well, duh. You know? It’s like if you were to change your routine just a bit so you don’t have to eat so much chocolate ice cream.

You can start off with a very relaxed routine and then, if you continue doing the same things every day, eventually you will get to a point where you need to change. And then, you can change your routine and slowly but surely you will get to the point where you dont have to do that same thing everyday.
